Kerlix Gauze Bandage Rolls manufactured by Kendall under Covidien are prewashed, fluff dried, 100% woven gauze bandages with patented crinkle-weave pattern and multiple applications including primary and secondary bandaging. The crinkle-weave pattern provides optimum bulk, wick, and absorbency. Paired with finished edges, to reduce loose ends and lint, the bandage is optimum for both primary and secondary layer bandaging. When used as a primary layer bandage, the crinkle-weave pattern aerates the wound and wicks away moisture to prevent infection and reduce skin maceration. When used as a secondary layer, the bandage serves to support and protect highly sensitive areas that require structure and protection.
