Foam Filter for Remstar Pro M Series, Re-usable is used in CPAP machines to ensure that air going into the machine is free from air pollutants like dander. Reusable foam filters must be washed regularly with warm water and mild soap and dried completely prior to next use. Improper use of reusable filters (such as but not limited to using wet filters) can damage the machine significantly. Patients are encouraged to check their filters regularly as poor filter hygiene may result in the build-up of potentially harmful substances such as mold. The filter must be replaced once dirt is visible or when the foam starts to deteriorate.
